MICKEY HADEN, a high school basketball coach, takes his team to the state finals where he finds himself involved in a wealthy, ruthless businessman’s ploy, SHAKES MONTROSE’S, to take his star player (the next Kobe Bryant, the next Michael Jordan), JACKIE STEWARDT, and corrupt him with drugs and women and control him commercially. Shakes Montrose offers Mickey a 50/50 deal in Jackie’s future. Mickey angrily turns him down, unknowingly leading him down a path to death and destruction, even the brutal rape and beating of his wife TRACY HADEN. Mickey’s oldest and dearest friend, CHIEF CANTON, is involved but not to the degree that he will turn his back on him, and it leads to the Chief’s brutal shooting and Mickey’s being accused of murder and attempted murder.



Mickey is unconsciously lead down a path of vigilantism in a Blood Game to save Jackie’s future and his own sanity. At a national spot Shakes’ managed to bride their way into, Mickey confronts Shakes in a finally that is explosive and revealing which saves his reputation, Jackie’s future.
